The Community Connections Project is a three part initiative designed to help us all better serve our community needs. The initial grant was provided by the Women's Philanthropy Society of the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville.
Can I just come to the networking meetings?
Yes! There is no cost or obligation to attend the monthly networking meetings. In fact, it's the best way to come learn more about what we do and how you can be a part of it!
What is Charity Tracker?
Charity Tracker is a web-based software that facilitates collaboration among users and hosts a database of clients to share information about their needs and services.
What is the cost to be a part of Community Connections Network?
There is no charge for joining through 2019. Community Connections and the ELM Foundation are working to secure funding so that being a part of Community Connections Network will continue to be low or no cost.
Is my clients' information safe in Charity Tracker?
Yes. Charity Tracker is HIPPA compliant. You can also enter as much or little data about your clients as you choose. We do encourage you to use the client database as it allows other agencies better assist your clients and can provide valuable reporting. In order to enter client data, the client must sign a release of information form which is kept on file for three years. Once a client is in the database this release applies to all agencies.
What is required to join?
It's easy. Sign up for a free trial subscription to Charity Tracker, and submit a Memorandum of Agreement committing to participate in the Networking Meetings and free training.
